Adrian oversees EMO programs for 10 communities. Adrian has worked as a paramedic for 13 years before shifting into emergency management for six years. Overall experience includes attending to ambulance and fire department calls; community evacuations; multiple day wildland fires; fluvial flooding; Covid-19 response; evacuee intake support; and attends EMO and council meetings. Adrian is a certified ICS Canada 100, 200, and 402 instructor.

Jeanette retired from the Government of Saskatchewan, Saskatchewan Public Safety Agency in 2023 with a progressive career spanning over 33 years in the areas of policy, communications, public safety and emergency management.
Jeanette is an advocate for emergency management education, training and planning. Following retirement, she became the founder and principal consultant for JMK Training and Consulting Services, specializing in Emergency Management training and consulting, and is a certified ICS Canada trainer.
Jeanette is passionate about supporting emergency management programs for all Saskatchewan communities. She is proud to serve on the SEPA Board with her fellow directors and believes that the Saskatchewan Emergency Planners offers a Saskatchewan focused platform for collaboration, education and networking opportunities.

Trevor currently serves as Fire Chief/Emergency Management Coordinator for the City of Yorkton. Trevor started his career 27 years ago in Thompson Manitoba as a firefighter/paramedic serving as an Advanced Cardiac Life Support provider, Pediatric Advanced Life Support provider, suicide intervention response unit team member, and was a member of the critical incident response team for Northern Manitoba. Trevor has worked in the fire sector alongside health regions for his entire career. Trevor’s experience working with vulnerable sectors has given him appreciation for the challenges presented by society, government, addictions, and the legal system when it comes to Mental Health and addictions. Trevor is currently building a resiliency plan along side other partner stakeholders within the City of Yorkton to help those suffering with mental health and addiction more easily access supports and manage their day to day struggles.

Helen Fornwald is the Safety Coordinator/EMO Coordinator for City of Estevan for the past 13 years with 10 years previous as alternate EMO Coordinator. She has been employed with the city for over 32 years. Her emergency management journey started with Emergency Management training in 1996 with Canadian Red Cross. From there, she had the opportunity to work with American Red Cross in Puerto Rico for a 3-week DR for Hurricane George classed as a “hardship assignment”. Over the years, she has taken many emergency management training.
Helen has had experience with the city as early as 2000’s declaring a local state of emergency a few times with organized evacuations. She conducts regular tabletop exercises and training to keep EMO team current and prepared. Helen conducts monthly meetings with all agencies emergency services, crown corporations, School System, RM, Hospital, SHA, Search & Rescue, Ministry of Highways, Airport, Salvation Army, Ministerial Association, SPSA, WSA, Canadian Red Cross and Ministry of Corrections, Policing & Public Safety.

A Primary Care paramedic since 2009, Margaret has worked EMS in multiple locations across the province and has been the EMS coordinator in Beechy since 2017. She is involved in the community on many levels, including being on the EMO committee and volunteering with multiple organizations. Margaret is also a Red Cross instructor up to the EMR level and a functional healthcare coach. She is passionate about helping people live healthier lives, and ensuring that they are prepared for whatever circumstances they may encounter. She loves to travel, cook, dance, read and compose the odd piece of music.

As a dedicated Safety Coordinator and Emergency Measures Coordinator for the City of Weyburn since 2020, Abby Kradovill brings over a decade of expertise in health and safety, having previously held the same role with Miller Well Servicing beginning in 2008. With an applied certificate in Occupational Health & Safety from Saskatchewan Polytechnic and a National Construction Safety Officer Designation, Abby combines professional knowledge with a strong commitment to public safety and emergency planning. An active community volunteer for nearly 20 years, Abby is eager to join the SEPA Board of Directors to contribute to the continued success of SEPA’s initiatives, including the annual conference.

Trevor Leggett

Trevor Leggett began his public safety career in 2005 with the Saskatchewan Ministry of Justice where he honed his skills as a Hostage Negotiator, eventually overseeing security and operations of the Regina Provincial Correctional Centre. In 2019, he went to work for Saskatchewan’s Emergency Measures Organization (Saskatchewan Public Safety Agency) as an Emergency Services Officer, where he advised elected officials and first responders on emergency preparedness and response measures during large-scale disruptive events. Trevor spearheaded several initiatives while at the SPSA including the development and implementation of critical programs in Saskatchewan during the pandemic, such as the COVID-19 rapid test kit distribution program. He also led the construction of a mobile command unit shared by police, fire and emergency management agencies across the province. However, Trevor’s dedication transcends provincial borders as he has been deployed across Canada to assist during large-scale disasters including a posting to the BC Provincial EOC for the atmospheric river event, and as an Information Officer for the 2021 wildfire and flooding events in the Yukon.
In 2021 Trevor was appointed as a Coroner for the Province of Saskatchewan. In this capacity, he coordinates and leads death investigations, leveraging his expertise in public safety to make recommendations aimed at educating the public on hazardous practices and conditions.
In his current role as SaskPower's Emergency Management and Business Continuity Specialist, Trevor works to ensure the utility is prepared to handle the evolving challenges posed by extreme weather events and a changing climate, and both cyber and physical security attacks. Trevor is also co-chair of the provincial nuclear emergency management steering committee.
Trevor is also the Deputy Fire Chief on his local fire department, and a volunteer medical first responder with the Saskatchewan Health Authority.
